Janelle Brittain, MBA, CSP, is an internationally known consultant, trainer and speaker who has more than 30 years of business experience in management, training, sales and marketing. Holder of an Executive MBA and the coveted Certified Speaking Professional designation, Janelle has helped clients ranging from the Fortune 100 to hot entrepreneurial companies with corporate turnarounds, team building, managing change, and developing management, executive coaching and integrating cultures.
In the early 1970s, Janelle began a 10-year career designing comprehensive marketing and PR plans and appearing on radio and television as a spokesperson in the healthcare field. Moving into the business world, she then embarked on a successful career in high?tech systems sales for Xerox and Control Data. It was during a downturn in that career that Janelle initially began searching for ways to recapture her effectiveness. What she discovered and created were methods to increase her thinking, flexibility and communication capabilities - giving her more control even in the most difficult and changing situations. By practicing these techniques, her performance skyrocketed! She became the top Sales Rep in her Division at Xerox every single month. This success motivated Janelle to establish her own speaking, training and consulting firm, the Dynamic Performance Institute, LLC (DPI), in order to share these skills with others. Since 1989, DPI has helped thousands of people and companies - from North America to Africa to Asia - skyrocket to dynamic and collaborative performance. DPI has guided hundreds of companies and organizations in building the skills of their people and establishing processes that create an optimum environment for both the individual and the organization to grow. As the consulting segment of the business grew, Janelle founded a major division within DPI called the Dynamic Solutions Group (DSG), to offer comprehensive consulting and technical training services. She brought on 25 consultants and trainers who specialize in areas such as sales, marketing, quality, efficiency and human resources. This team of 25 senior experts helps DSG clients Make and Save More Money, While Building Stronger Teams. Janelle is the author of four published books, including the most recently published Star Team Dynamics: 12 Lessons Learned from Experienced Team Builders. Business publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily and Crain's Chicago Business often showcase Janelle's insights on teambuilding, mergers, productivity and other business issues of the day. Janelle has also produced a training film and a number of audiocassettes.
